65 years together. Can you imagine? 65 years married. 65 years of loving, graceful disagreements, raising children, losing loved ones, greeting grandchildren and great grandchildren, learning each other’s quirks, likes and dislikes—intimately.

So much has happened in my own marriage of four years, I can only imagine what the next 61 hold for us!

Anyway, Susan reached out to me a few months ago, and said she was planning a surprise for her dear parent’s 65th wedding anniversary. She schemed with her siblings to have everyone there for their parent’s special day!

We started with a mini anniversary shoot for her parents at a local park and then returned to their home where we could “get a few more shots” before ending our time together.

Seeing everyone “sneak” out of the house and surround their parents was so precious!!! SO MUCH LOVE AND JOY! Needless to say, the surprise was a smashing success!

Oh, I wish I could be a part of moments like this all the time!
